1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Minori Bakehouse website, mobile web experience, and order services. By using our services, you consent to processing of your information as described here, subject to applicable law.
2. Information We Collect
- Account details: name, email, phone number, password hash.
- Order details: products ordered, customization choices, delivery/pickup slot, notes.
- Address data: delivery address, pincode, landmark and contact details.
- Payment data: payment identifiers/status from Razorpay. We do not store full card details or PINs.
- Technical data: IP, browser/device details, session logs, and cookie identifiers.
- Support data: communications through email, WhatsApp, calls, or support requests.
- Messaging data: for WhatsApp order notifications we keep a record of which message we sent, when, and whether it was delivered or read. Your phone number is stored in masked form in that record, along with your opt-out status if you have asked us to stop.
3. How We Use Information
- To process and deliver your orders.
- To verify payments, detect fraud, and secure transactions.
- To provide customer support and resolve complaints.
- To send service messages such as order status, OTPs, and payment updates.
- To improve product quality, menu planning, and user experience.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Payments and Third Parties
Online payments are processed through Razorpay and banking/payment networks. We share only the data required to complete payment, verify transactions, and prevent fraud. Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as required for order fulfillment, support, record keeping, fraud prevention, tax/accounting, and legal compliance. When retention is no longer necessary, data is deleted or anonymized where feasible.
Raw WhatsApp webhook events — the technical records WhatsApp sends us when a message is delivered or when you reply — are automatically deleted after 90 days.
6a. WhatsApp Order Notifications
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform to send order confirmations, order status updates, and login codes to the phone number on your order. These are service messages about orders you have placed — we do not send marketing broadcasts on WhatsApp.
You can stop order notifications at any time by replying STOP to any of our WhatsApp messages, or by turning WhatsApp off under Account → Notifications. Reply START to resume. Login codes you request yourself are still sent, since they are a direct response to your sign-in attempt. Turning WhatsApp off does not affect your order — we will still email you.
7. Data Security
We maintain reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No platform can guarantee absolute security; therefore, you should protect your account credentials and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw consent for certain processing. Some requests may be limited where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 18 without parental/guardian supervision. If you believe a minor has provided personal information without authorization, contact us for review and deletion where appropriate.
10. Policy Updates
We may revise this policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
